Med In Heaven was created to help overseas buyers find their dream home, and make their purchase simple and straightforward. Unlike in the UK and many other countries, France has a system of multiple listings for property sales and it is rare for a vendor to give a contract to just one agency. France's multiple listings system allows maximum exposure for a property and it is not uncommon to find the same villa on the books of 15 different agencies - often at different prices! Med In Heaven spends an average of two to three weeks per client establishing which villas currently on the market match their criteria, and which agencies listing the villas have them for sale at the lowest price. The sale price that the agencies advertise always includes a standard 5% agency commission fee which is paid for by the buyer.

In our unique model, we provide services to our clients on behalf of the French estate agency. In return the agency allows part of its standard 5% commission to be paid to Med In Heaven. This pays for our services at no extra cost to yourself, and gives you the peace of mind that Med In Heaven only represents you the buyer. Since we are a broker, it is not our job to sell you a villa, we are here to help you choose which villa you would like to buy. The agencies are also happy with this arrangement as we provide you with a wide range of services that they cannot.

Our services include:

  • up to date property listings in English
  • prompt replies to all email and phone inquiries
  • help arranging accommodation and airport pick-up (if desired)
  • providing a tour of the properties you have selected (unlike most French estate agents, we speak your language)
  • explaining clearly how to buy a property in France, including French property law and financing
  • negotiating on your behalf with the French vendor
  • we will be beside you every step of the way until you are the owner of your new home
