Old Nice Cours Saleya Palace, 136m² 730,000€
Built at the turn of the 19th century, this aristocratic duplex apartment is a large 136 square meters and has three good sized bedrooms. Overlooking the Cours Saleya, one of the Old Towns most colourful pedestrianised streets, it has a small balcony and a breathtaking view of the sea stretching from the Colline du Chateau all the way to Cap d’Antibes. With wooden flooring, double glazed windows and white pillars throughout, the building and its communal areas have just finished renovations and are a 20 metre walk to the beach and Marche aux Fleurs. Like most buildings in the Old Town, it does not have a lift however it does have a grand communal entrance and marble staircase.

This 5th floor apartment by far has the largest terrace we have ever come across in Nice. Its prime location is on the border of the old town and overlooks the soon to be pedestrianised Place Garibaldi, Museum of modern Art, and has a panorama of the mountains behind. The terrace is decorated with trees, plants,a shed, lounge chairs,tables and is also covered by a retractable awning. Inside, the newly renovated kitchen and dining room are seperated by a dividing wall, which if removed would really open up the space. The living room and two bedrooms are of a good size and all have large windows which provide access to the wrap-around balcony. The entrance layout of the apartment is a little awkward, with a long corridor containing cupboards and a desk space. The building’s communal areas and lift are in perfect condition and just down the steps is Monoprix, France’s answer to Marks and Spencer.
Old Nice Rue St Vincent, 104m² 313,800€
